Serie "TOTEMS". 2010/ 2019
In these series of work I am exploring how my personal experience has become part of a collective female imaginary . I collected second-hand intimate garments from women around me and used them as a base for my sculptures. Each piece is sawn up individually, together with different objects that I collected, created, selected and assembled. In this process every part is charged with memories and the resulting work recalls a powerful "Totem".
